In these terms and conditions, “we” “us” and “our” refers to Fibrefaerie. “Service” refers to our website  Your access to and use of all information on this website including purchase of our product/s is provided subject to the following terms and conditions. By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.


We reserve the right to amend this notice at any time and your use of the website following any amendments will represent your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions as amended. We therefore recommend that each time you access our website you read these terms and conditions.




We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. 

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.

This website may from time to time contain hyperlinks to other third­ party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Fibrefaerie.  Any hyperlink on our website to another website does not imply our endorsement, support, or sponsorship of the operator of that website nor of the information and/or products which they provide.


Fibrefaerie has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Fibrefaerie shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such websites or services.  

We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third­ party web sites or services that you visit.


You may link our website with our consent. Any such linking will be entirely your responsibility and at your expense. By linking, you must not alter any of our website’s contents including any intellectual property notices and you must not frame or reformat any of our pages, files, images, text or other materials.




We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 3 0 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. 

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service. 


Prices, Products and Registrations


All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD). 


We endeavour to ensure that our price list is current. We reserve the right to amend our prices at any time. If you have registered interest for a class, prior to being invoiced for a class, we give no guarantee that your registration will be able to be fulfilled unless at our discretion. 


We endeavour to ensure that our product and service list is current however we give no undertaking as to the availability of any product advertised on our website.


We strive to ensure that our products are described as accurately as possible on our website, however we do not warrant that the description is accurate. Where we become aware of any misdescription, we reserve the right to correct any error or omission.


Images have been provided for illustrative purposes only and we do not guarantee that any image will reproduce in true colour nor that any given image will reflect or portray the full design or result relating to that product. All effort is made to produce images that accurately represent products. Please also note that there maybe differences in colour when viewing on different monitors.


We do not guarantee that any image used in conjunction with a product will be the exact result from participation in a class, course or workshop. These images are examples only.


Returns Policy


Fibrefaerie considers customer relations to be extremely important, and is committed to providing customers with quality products with accurate descriptions and clear pricing to create a hassle-free shopping experience. We are unable to offer returns and exchanges at this time for change of mind (or as otherwise stated below), however if there is a problem with the product we will happily refund or exchange as outlined in our policy.


In line with Australian Consumer Law Refunds and Exchanges will be offered if:


        • the goods are faulty, 

        • don't match the product description 

        • or are unfit for their intended purpose.


Returns can only be processed when accompanied by the receipt or proof of purchase. 


In the case of defective items, we will be happy to replace it or refund the purchase price if you return it within 30 days of the purchase. 


Fibrefaerie In-store Refund & Exchange Policy is to not refund or exchange if you ;


        • simply change your mind, 

        • no longer want the product, 

        • found the item cheaper elsewhere, 

        • found a better product elsewhere, 

        • damaged the product by misusing it (i.e. dropped it in water), 

        • purchase the wrong item, 

        • purchase too many items,

        • use the product for a long time and the problem is a result of usual wear and tear (please see the Office of Fair Trading website for more details).  


We cannot refund  charts, patterns or books; cut fabrics, ribbons, trims; haberdashery, knitting needles or crochet hooks not in the original packaging, unless they meet one of the returns criteria.


Please also note that a Sale item will not be eligible for a refund or exchange if the item was damaged or faulty and the customer was made aware of the relevant fault before buying the product (such as if the fault was written on the product's tag, or for online purchases, indicated in any photos or descriptions of the item online).


Therefore to be eligible for a refund or exchange:-


        • the item must be faulty, doesn’t match product description (as stated on the tag, advertising or website) or is unfit for the intended purpose.

        • the item must be accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase from Fibrefaerie.


Class/Course & Workshop Fees, Charges and Payments


Clarification of Terms


"Registration" refers to registering interest in a class/course or workshop PRIOR to booking.

"Booking" refers to having read the Fee Policy issued with your Invoice and having made FULL PAYMENT at least 7 days prior to the class/course or workshop unless with consent from Fibrefaerie.




After registering your interest you will be sent an email with an invoice and details on how to pay.

Full Payment must be received in advance (at least 7 days) to secure your booking.

Payments can be made via Paypal, electronic funds transfer or in person at selected times.

After registering your interest you will be sent a booking link with an invoice and details on how to pay.

Material lists for each class are compulsory and included in the price of all classes held at the Castlemaine Studio except at the discretion of Fibrefaerie. 




  • There is a $10 administration charge for cancellations.

  • There is a $10 administration charge for changes to bookings made within 7 days of the event, or in addition to the one free change of booking for advance notice.


Change of Bookings & Cancellations


  • If you cancel more than 7 days before a class we will issue a full refund, minus the $10 administration charge.

  • If you want to change your booking and contact Fibrefaerie more than 7 days before your booked class your first Change of Booking is FREE. After that administration charges of $10 per change apply.

  • Fees are 50% non-refundable if a cancellation is made by you within 7 days of the event, and a $10 administration charge will be applied - for get back  50% refund minus $10 admin charge. 

  • If a Change of Booking is requested within 7 days but more than 48hrs of the event, a credit of the remaining fees (minus 50% & $10 Admin charge) will be applied to the alternate booking

  • Fees are 100% non-refundable if a cancellation is made by you within 48hrs (2days of event). 

  • If Fibrefaerie cancels the class we will give the option to reschedule to another time. If you cannot make the alternate time and can give at least 7 days notice that you can’t attend this alternative class, your fees will be refunded in full. 

  • If Fibrefaerie cancels the class for whatever reason without the option of rescheduling, fees will be refunded in full.

  • Fibrefaerie reserves the right to refund fees, waive administration charges and provide discounts, bonuses, freebies or reschedule classes at Fibrefaerie’s discretion, taking into account costs, minimums and extreme circumstances.

We appreciate your trust that we will take care of, use and share information about you carefully and sensibly. This notice described our Privacy Policy.

This Personal Information is obtained in many ways including interviews, correspondence, by telephone and fax, by email, via Facebook and other social media i.e. Instagram, Google Plus, Twitter, Pinterest and Ravelry, via our website, from your website, from media and publications, from other publicly available sources, from cookies and from third parties. We don’t guarantee website links or policy of authorised third parties.


We collect your Personal Information for the primary purpose of providing our services to you and marketing. We may also use your Personal Information for secondary purposes closely related to the primary purpose, in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure. You may unsubscribe from our mailing/marketing lists at any time by contacting us in writing.


When we collect Personal Information we will, where appropriate and where possible, explain to you why we are collecting the information and how we plan to use it.

Fibrefaerie will not charge any fee for your access request, but may charge an administrative fee for providing a copy of your Personal Information.

In order to protect your Personal Information we may require identification from you before releasing the requested information.

It is an important to us that your Personal Information is up to date. We  will  take reasonable steps to make sure that your Personal Information is accurate, complete and up-to-date. If you find that the information we have is not up to date or is inaccurate, please advise us as soon as practicable so we can update our records and ensure we can continue to provide quality services to you.

When you visit our website, we give you a limited licence to access and use our information for personal use.


The licence to access and use the information or images on our website does not include the right to use any data mining robots or other extraction tools. The licence also does not permit you to metatag or mirror our website without our prior written permission. We reserve the right to serve you with notice if we become aware of your metatag or mirroring of our website.
