Fibrefaerie Returns Policy


Fibrefaerie considers customer relations to be extremely important, and is committed to providing customers with quality products with accurate descriptions and clear pricing to create a hassle-free shopping experience. We are unable to offer returns and exchanges at this time for change of mind (or as otherwise stated below), however if there is a problem with the product we will happily refund or exchange as outlined in our policy.


In line with Australian Consumer Law Refunds and Exchanges will be offered if:


        • the goods are faulty, 

        • don't match the product description 

        • or are unfit for their intended purpose.


Returns can only be processed when accompanied by the receipt or proof of purchase. 


In the case of defective items, we will be happy to replace it or refund the purchase price if you return it within 30 days of the purchase. 


Fibrefaerie In-store Refund & Exchange Policy is to not refund or exchange if you ;


        • simply change your mind, 

        • no longer want the product, 

        • found the item cheaper elsewhere, 

        • found a better product elsewhere, 

        • damaged the product by misusing it (i.e. dropped it in water), 

        • purchase the wrong item, 

        • purchase too many items,

        • use the product for a long time and the problem is a result of usual wear and tear (please see the Office of Fair Trading website for more details).  


We cannot refund  charts, patterns or books; cut fabrics, ribbons, trims; haberdashery, knitting needles or crochet hooks not in the original packaging, unless they meet one of the returns criteria.


Please also note that a Sale item will not be eligible for a refund or exchange if the item was damaged or faulty and the customer was made aware of the relevant fault before buying the product (such as if the fault was written on the product's tag, or for online purchases, indicated in any photos or descriptions of the item online).


Therefore to be eligible for a refund or exchange:-


        • the item must be faulty, doesn’t match product description (as stated on the tag, advertising or website) or is unfit for the intended purpose.

        • the item must be accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase from Fibrefaerie.
